Dr Paramez AR is the Senior consultant and Head of the Pulmonology Department at Lisie Hospital Kochi. Medical College, Thrissur and completed MD at J L N Medical College, Ajmer. Following Diploma in Critical Care (IDCC) at the Fortis Hospital, New Delhi, he has completed training in Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS). Dr Paramez did Pulmonary Medicine Residency at J L N Medical College, Ajmer before joining as registrar in the division of critical care Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Following senior residency in Pulmonology and Respiratory critical care (MICU) at the Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital and Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, and moved to the KIMS Hospital Kochi as consultant in Pulmonology & Critical care. Presently he is the Senior consultant and HOD of Department of Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine at the prestigious LISIE HOSPITAL, Kochi. Dr Paramez’s has attended various international and national conferences and publications in indexed journals. He is a member of several organizations including European Respiratory Society and American College of Chest Physicians. His clinical interests are Interventional Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, COPD, Lung Cancer, HIV, Pulmonary Infections in Elderly, DPLD and Bronchial Asthma.
