The monthly meeting of the Cochin Clinical Society was held at Kinder Hospitals Kochi. Brigadier (Dr.) A.P. Radhakrishnan, Medical Board Director of Kinder Hospitals, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. The session was moderated by Professor Dr. Jayashree Nair, an expert in Reproductive Medicine.

During the meeting, Dr. Smitha Surendran from the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Dr. Sherly Fernandes from the Department of General Medicine & Geriatrics jointly presented on the topic “A Pregnancy Nightmare.”
Dr. Sindhu Karthika Ammini from the Department of Pediatrics & Neonatology discussed the condition “Transient ITP in the Newborn.”
Dr. Sharanya Rajendran from the Department of General & Laparoscopic Surgery spoke on the case titled “A Twist in GI Bleed.”
Dr. Shine Shukkoor from the Department of Pulmonology elaborated on the topic “Masquerading Pneumonia,” and Dr. Mohammed Iqbal from the Department of Cardiology presented an interesting case under the title “A Neurological Conundrum.”

As part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, Kinder Hospitals, Kochi successfully organized a yoga training session for staff which was attended by around 50 participants. The engaging class, held at the Kinder WOW MOM Pregnancy Club, was expertly led by Smt. Soumya Vijayan, Senior Operations Manager at Kinder Hospitals Kochi, and Smt. Amrutha Thomas, from the department Physiotherapy.
