Fever case management .
1.Causative factor,
food(excess biscuts ,spoiled food ,excess lemon, juices, pastries, fruits, milk preparations, non veg spoilled food,spoiled food,)lifestyle changes, weather change, sleep, getting wet, over heated,Mentals, Physical exertion,Travel history, exposure to cold air, cold food, hot air, hot food,carbonated drinks,excess salt intake,sugar intake,outbreak of epidemic, contamination, infections .
2.Past history of fever, h/o of febrile convulsions, past history of dehydration and Management, past history of days took for complete recovery, both.(for those choose homoepathic treatment first time or those who is consulting first time at your clinic)
3.Take down complete medical history and treatment for it taken,don't stop. (Any of the regular medicines all of sudden.)
4.Understand patients immunity, reflex, diet, breath and fittness.
5.Temperature,spo2,hb CBC Esr, platelets,sgot,sgpt,bilirubin,alkaline phosphatase, urea, creatine,urine routine,rbs etc...
6.If patient is stable ,Stick to basics of homoeopathic case taking select the medicine accordingly
7. If patient is unstable,and taking homoeopathic treatment for first time,manage dehydration, excess ventilation, glucose suppliment, ask to take adequate water, paracetamol,dolo when required.
8. Acute Fever due to dengue , leptospirosis, malaria,meningitis, UTI ,lRTI, hepatitis,pneumonia must be ruled out at the earliest, understanding sign and symptoms is most important.
Don't hesitate or delay patient to reffer higher centre when the signs and symptoms worsens
9.Review fever chart, it's pattern and condition of patient regularly till we find the Patient is Recovering .
10. Prescibe a suitable diet during the sufferings.
11. Consuming water and glucose will help to manage dehydration.
