On the occasion of World Hearing Day (March 03), an awareness class was organized at St. Albert's College under the leadership of ENT experts Dr. Mathew Dominic and Dr. Preeti Mary. The doctors spoke about hearing protection and new treatment methods. Ms. Sangeetha shared her experience of overcoming her son's hearing problem, which was a new knowledge for everyone. In addition, audiologist Ms. Neha also gave an interactive session on hearing testing. The seminar concluded with a message to reduce the excessive use of headsets and ensure the hearing health of the future generation.

In connection with World Hearing Day (March 03), a special awareness session was organized for the students of St. Albert’s College by the ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Department. The session was led by Consultant Surgeons Dr. Mathew Dominic and Dr. Preethi Mary.

During the session, the doctors explained in a simple and engaging manner how we can protect our hearing health and discussed the latest treatment options available. The program also featured an inspiring sharing by Ms. Sangeetha, who spoke about her son's journey of overcoming hearing difficulties, offering valuable insight to the students.

Additionally, Audiologist Ms. Neha conducted an interactive session on how individuals can check their own hearing ability. The seminar placed special emphasis on the harmful effects of the excessive use of mobile phones and headsets.

The session concluded with a discussion on how the younger generation can safeguard their hearing health for the future.
