🌈 Ayurvedic approach to preventing migraines focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes - not just symptom management.

🌈 It sees migraine as a systemic imbalance involving gut-brain axis, mitochondrial dysfunction, inflammation and hormonal dysregulation🌺

🌈 Key Lifestyle Changes for Migraine Prevention ❤️

1. Maintain a consistent daily routine 🔥

Lack of a regular routine, overstimulation, irregular meal time, or overstrain can trigger migraines

2.Sleep hygiene 🔥

Goal : 7 to 8 hours of restorative sleep in the night . Avoid screens 1 hour before bed. Have a warm shower before bed.

3. Dietary adjustments 🔥

Avoid triggers like cheese and dairy, chocolate, processed foods, gluten, oily foods, cold food or skipping meals. Eat well cooked warm, light foods. Avoid snacking.
Stay hydrated with warm fluids

4.Stress Management 🔥

Chronic stress is a major trigger. Integrate yoga, gentle music, hobbies, pranayama etc

5.Digital and Sensory Detox🔥

Overexposure to screens, noise, harsh light, or strong smells can trigger migraines. Practice 1 hour daily digital fasting.

6. Regular physical activity🔥

Choose low impact exercises like walking, gentle yoga, swimming etc

7. Gut Health 🔥

Prevent indigestion, acidity or Constipation. Eat a light , warm meal only. Avoid late and heavy dinner. Avoid or reduce snacking. Chew your food well.
Encourage healthy bowel movement daily.

🌈 By regulating neural and vascular responses with tailored nutrition, consistent daily routines, plant- based therapies, Ayurveda provides an evidence-informed framework to both relieve acute migraine pain and achieve lasting remission or relief from migraine.

Please avoid self-medication based on online information; always consult a qualified practitioner to develop a safe, personalised treatment plan🌺

How Exercise Heals and Protects Your Heart❤️

Regular movement isn’t just good for weight loss only - it’s one of the most powerful ways to protect your heart.

A comprehensive review in the reputed journal CIRCULATION examined four decades of research linking physical activity, fitness and heart health.

What Happens to Your Heart When You Exercise according to the Research:🏋🏼🏋🏼‍♀️

1. Stronger heart muscles- Your heart pumps more efficiently
2. Lowers blood pressure
3. Lowers cholesterol
4. Improves blood sugar levels
5. Less inflammation - This protects arteries from damage
6. More oxygen to tissues.

How much Exercise is Enough :

The magic number🌈🌈

30 min a day , 5 days a week of brisk walking, cycling, or swimming ( moderate activity)

OR

15 - 30 minutes a day of jogging, stair climbing, or HIIT ( vigorous activity )

Even 5 minutes a day of faster paced activity can help

For People with Heart Issues :

Exercise as a part of rehabilitation program can reduce your risk of dying by 20-25%

It helps your heart rate recover and protects you from future problems.

Not Just the Heart❤️

Exercise also:
1. Boosts mood and energy
2. Improves sleep
3. Helps with digestion
4. Reduces risks of stroke and certain cancers

In short: Move to Protect Your Heart ❤️

You don’t need to go to the gym- a walk in the park, dancing, climbing stairs, or gardening all count.

The key is to move regularly and stay consistent.

Your heart will thank you every single day.

Bloating is a common and uncomfortable condition where your abdomen feels full, tight or swollen - often due to excess gas, fluid retention or digestive dysfunction. Causes can vary depending on your diet, lifestyle, gut health and underlying medical conditions.

Here is a breakdown of the major causes of bloating:

1. Gas accumulation in the intestines due to fermentation of poorly digested carbs, beans, legumes, raw vegetables ( specifically cabbage, cauliflower etc),

2. Sluggish digestion due to less fibre intake, lack of exercise, late and heavy dinner, untimely meals, excessive snacking etc.

3. Constipation: Lack of proper bowel movement can cause bloating.

4. Food intolerances : Lactose, gluten, FODMAPs( fermentable carbs) trigger bloating.

5. Imbalances in gut bacteria:
Overgrowth of gas producing bacteria (SIBO) :
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is a prime cause of bloating.

6. Hormonal imbalance:
Hormonal imbalances in women can trigger bloating.

7. Stress and anxiety:
Stress and anxiety can alter the vagus nerve activity and gut motility and causes bloating .

Gas. Bloating. Burping. Discomfort. But all tests are normal.

We hear this everyday. Ayurveda sees what your reports miss.
