Apple has started its 1 st Unit with one ultrasound machine in rented premises at Bhavani Mandap, Kolhapur in the year 1994. In the year 1997 the company has expanded its activities by starting Centre in own premises at Shahupuri Kolhapur where all kinds of Diagnostic Services with latest technology are available. In the year 2002 the Company has introduced 1 st State- of the art 1.5 T Whole Body MRI Machine in the entire Kolhapur District. In the year 2004, Company has Started 1 st Private Digital Flat Panel Cathlab & Cardiothoracic Surgery Centre. In the year 2006, Company has introduced 1 st State – of the art 64 Slice Cardiac & Whole Body CT Scanner. Running of high end technology are really difficult because of low paying capacity of the masses. Compared to the other metro cities Apple Provides same technology at very low rate. The Company always offers high cost technology without diverting the burden to the people and this social approach always attracts people to our centre. After achieving the leadership in Diagnostic Services Company has decided to start its Multi Speciality Hospital in the region. In the year 2011, With the perception of getting the readymade infrastructure as well as goodwill Apple has taken over Saraswati Hospital, the proprietary concern owned by Dr. Ashok N. Accordingly in the year 2012, Company has Started its own 200 Bedded Multi Speciality Unit at Kadamwadi, Kolhapur. The Hospital is setup in 5 & ½ acre land and it is a 4 storey building with built up area of 150000 sq.ft. The Hospital Will Fulfill the urgent needs of various medical facilities under one roof for the patients with critical illness. Hospital has started various departments like internal medicine, Critical Care, Interventional and Clinical Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Nephrology, Orthopedic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Neurology, Laproscopic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Urology will be starting Shortly. The Company has also started its own Pharmacy Shop in Multi Speciality Hospital. In the year 2017, Company has acquired State-of –Art 3T MRI Machine with 48 Channel for Rs 8.5 CR by replacing the existing 1.5T MRI Machine. In Kolhapur region, the technology of this quality is only available with Apple Hospital. In the year 2017, another major achievement of the Company is functioning of oncology project costing near about 25 CR. True beam STx acquired by Apple is the only machine of its kind in the entire regions. It will enable to perform new treatments like SRS and SBRT. The technology contained in this Linear Accelerator will be definitely beneficial to the Cancer patients for providing accurate and precise radiation therapy with very less side effects.
