Remind yourself. Set a timer on your phone to notify you throughout the day to drink, drink, drink.

Gulp. Instead of grabbing a glass of water and sipping it, take five to 10 gulps every time you reach for water. You'll consume more water this way throughout the day than if you only drink small amounts at a time.

Love your water bottle. Buy a water bottle you like and carry it with you everywhere. Keep your bottle nearby when you're working, commuting or relaxing. Having easy access to water makes it more likely that you'll sip on it throughout the day.

World Diabetes Day provides an opportunity to raise awareness of diabetes as a global public health issue and what needs to be done, collectively and individually, for better prevention, diagnosis and management of the condition.
In the lead-up to and on 14 November, WHO will highlight not only the challenges, but more importantly the solutions, to scaling-up access to diabetes medicines and care.
This theme,‘access to diabetes education underpins the larger multi-year theme of 'access to care'.
The theme for this year’s World Diabetes Day “EDUCATION TO PROTECT TOMORROW" highlights the need for greater education for both healthcare workers to be able to better detect and diagnose the condition early and provide care, as well as for people living with diabetes to improve their self-management and avoid complications.
