Spirit work, spirit divination- the various pathways of sacred co creation. Sacred is as sacred does = occultism.
Far away from the convenient narrative contrived.. remains a world of sanctity through pragmatism, the scope of the divine order being the very spectrum of darkness to light.. light to darkness- yet never about darkness being devolution and light being evolution ;)
An occultist doesn’t quite fit into comfortable boxes with well defined polishing.
Spirit work is SEEKING REASSURANCES THROUGH REASSURING perspectives, the perceived truth being the established aftermath of discipline, practice, play, and lightheartedness too.
So while yes skill work is ever important.. yet before that comes in the realms of PERCEIVING, sharpening it and being sure of it.. and then that turns into truth! Which again is the task of the spirit worker to ‘test’ - because after all .. spirit is all pervasive, all encompassing.. so truth needs to transform! That task of seeking transformation.. is the diviner’s task :)
The task becomes the practice. And then there’s no looking back!
Anointing oneself during any practice connected to spirit divination- simply means to seek aligned doorways to be opened via the help of spirit realm.
During anointing oneself (with oil or with prayer.. praying over oneself) or with any practice of burning incense.. it is important to seek the dialogue with oneself first-
Example- when the diviner seeks spirit’s assistance- ‘see through my eyes’ (these words see through my eyes’ means- oneness with the perspective of TRUTH = spirit ;)

Home protection and honouring the keepers of the keys 🔑
Remember as i keep saying its practice that makes familiarity and not intention, and definitely not just intention on a random Saturday 😉
Practice , repetition = familiarity = honouring familiar spirit = strong warding and spiritual protection :)
One black candle dressed with rue and mandrake and yarrow grounded - placed at the threshold of the home- signalling to your spirit of the home hearth and foundation to protect your home from its base to the top .. the home of a witch/ primarily a spirit diviner.. is a living being, with a legacy left behind and a legacy being built (spirit world of the past present and future) the home is the hearth and the very being of spirit too (animism)
As offering i place yarrow and mugwort in two separate bowls, amongst other favourites .. right at the threshold beyond the door 🚪
And the other black candle 🕯️ .. i usually place towards the ‘other end’ of the home. (Anywhere really.. no perfection needed) this signifying the vortex of power itself!
Both candles dressed with same roots and herbs mentioned.
You may use the banishment and protection oil for its aligned properties ;)

Vessel of luck - working principle- feeding the vessel with exactly what we seek- in other words just like a money 💰 bowl- with this too we keep our emblems, roots and herbs and extensions of self that align with the ‘vessel of luck’ -
The reel shall be helpful.. other than the ones mentioned you may keep the symbol or anything that signifies the area of life that needs the luck and nurturing.
