1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate records of pharmacy purchases, sales, stock adjustments, and returns
Ensure timely data entry in the accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP or other).
2. Vendor & Customer Coordination:
Manage vendor ledgers and ensure timely payment cycles.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in invoices or receipts.
Verify tax invoices and ensure they are GST compliant.
3. GST Compliance:
Preparation and timely filing of all statutory GST returns:
GSTR-1 (Outward Supplies),
GSTR-3B (Monthly Summary Return),
GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation,
GSTR-9/9C (Annual Return and Reconciliation Statement).
Ensure accurate reporting of taxable, exempt, and zero-rated supplies in GST returns.
Maintenance of electronic ledgers: Cash Ledger, Credit Ledger, and Liability Ledger on GST portal.
Monitor GST portal notifications and circulars and ensure timely implementation of updates.
4. GST Reconciliation & Audit Preparation:
Monthly reconciliation of purchase register with GSTR-2A/2B to identify mismatches.
Reconcile ITC claimed vs ITC eligible, and ensure ITC reversal where required (Rule 42 & Rule 43 compliance).
Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies in invoices, mismatches, or ITC issues.
Reconcile sales data from POS/billing system with GSTR-1 to ensure accuracy of reported outward supplies.
Preparation of audit-ready documentation and supporting schedules for GST audits or departmental scrutiny.
