Dr. Vikash is a Senior Surgical Oncologist with over 2 decades of experience and expertise in successfully carrying out numerous cancer surgeries. Under his stewardship, he has founded The Global Cancer Trust and envisioned a cancer tumour board at VCCC, to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas in terms of providing better medical accessibility for cancer. He has successfully conducted thousands of cancer operations including Breast Cancer, Throat Cancer, Oral cancer, Thyroid Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Gynaecological Cancer, and Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer. His Specialisations include Robotic Cancer Surgery, Head and Neck Cancer Surgery, Breast OncoPlastic Surgery, and many more. He is currently the Senior Surgical Oncologist at Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata, and V Care Cancer Center, Kolkata. He has successfully supervised the branching of VCCC in different states across the country, in terms of creating an umbrella of hope for cancer and a multimodal treatment with the latest facilities at an affordable rate. In order to create a society free from cancer, he has spearheaded over 300 physical seminars as well as 200 virtual webinars for cancer prevention across the globe. Moreover, his medical acumen has been transcribed and found its way in several journals of National & International repute.
