The Department of Psychology had celebrated Self- Injury Awareness Day on 14th March, 2023.

The event was attended by 70 participants from different colleges namely, Ashutosh College, Victoria Institution, Murlidhar Girls'College and Gokhale Memorial Girls' College respectively, along with 30 students from various departments of Nshm Knowledge Campus.

Clinical Psychologist, Ms. Sarah Hussain, discussed on 'Psychoanalytical aspect behind self- harm'.

A Dance drama titled- 'Numbing the Pain'was performed by the Bsc and Msc in Clinical Psychology students of the Department.

Department of Psychology, NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata is a 5 years old department started in the year 2018. It is successfully running 2 courses namely Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. B.Sc. in Psychology is a 3 years graduation course where students can join after passing class 12 & M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology is a 2 years course where students can join after graduation. We look forward to having any eligible candidate in our team in the near future & also any query regarding the matter.
