Update4:
René has shown wonderful improvement in a slow, but
reassuring fashion. She is less skittish of humans and is starting to be more and more responsive, and even recognises her name now! She is currently undergoing physiotherapy for her injuries (unfortunately she has a lumbar injury in addition to her neck area) and is eating very well. We are more grateful than words can convey to our amazing foster who has been giving René the best kind of care humanly possible.
However, we still have a long way to go before René becomes fit enough to be a healthy cat and do cat things.
Here we take the opportunity to make a lovely announcement: Scooby the proud Indie has agreed to collaborate with us for providing even more care and support to René and we are thankful beyond words can even begin to express our gratitude. Between this update and the previous one back on 2️⃣3️⃣/0️⃣3️⃣/2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣, the proud indie and our amazing foster have been working together tirelessly in raising much needed funds for our beautiful René.
The current estimate for René's care is illustrated in the following breakdown:
•Approximate cost of boarding fees+ recovery diet+ meals + other needs for forty-three days: 30x300= 9000/-
•Physiotherapy+ veteranarian fees: 770+770+770+770+600+ (above amount)= 12,680/-
•Blood test+ two xrays: 2,200+ 1,200+ (above total amount)= 16080/-
Please consider opening your kind hearts for sweet René again. It's been a long road and we still have several more days ahead of us. We have been able to come this far because of your generosity and support and for that, we pray you are all blessed a hundred fold 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
