Today, I had the honour of being invited to Udaipur for IACMCON 2024, where I was privileged to deliver the “Dr. Sukumar Mukherjee Honour Lecture” as a Speaker/Orator. I am deeply thankful and grateful to the Scientific Chairman, Dr. M. P. S. Chawla, and the other esteemed team members: Dr. K. K. Pareek, Dr. Dipanjan Bandyopadhyay, Dr. D. C. Sharma, Dr. H. S. Pathak, Dr. Smarajit Banik, and others. It is truly a memorable day for me. Prof. Sukumar Mukherjee, who was my teacher and guide during my MD course at Medical College Kolkata, holds a special place in my life. For this lecture, I selected a topic that resonates with both Physicians/Diabetologists and Rheumatologists. Here are a few snapshots of the unforgettable moments from the event.

This patient attended in the clinic few days back. I have not seen such deformities in the recent past.This is a patient of Rheumatoid arthritis with severe deformities. Recently the treatment protocol of Rheumatoid arthritis has improved much which prevents to develop such deformities. Please be aware of this. Though Rheumatoid arthritis is a non curable disease but it's 100 percent treatable.We should take an oath that we will not allow anyone to develop such deformities.
