आज के समय में पुरुष बांझपन (Male Infertility) लगातार बढ़ रहा है। फिर भी कई बार केवल महिला की ही बार-बार जांच की जाती है, जबकि पुरुष साथी की जांच को नजरअंदाज कर दिया जाता है। सही समय पर सही जांच और जागरूकता बढ़ाना हम सभी की जिम्मेदारी है।

उन्होंने बहुत जल्दी माता-पिता बनने की यात्रा शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया था, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने परिवार में ही लंबे समय तक चली बांझपन की समस्या देखी थी—उनके जीजा के मामले में। इसलिए वे चाहते थे कि जल्द से जल्द दोनों की पूरी तरह से जांच कराई जाए।

আজ সানন্দে আমার একটি কেস স্টাডি Eastern Chronicle-এ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে—সেটি আপনাদের সঙ্গে ভাগ করে নিচ্ছি।
আজকের দিনে পুরুষ বন্ধ্যাত্ব (Male Infertility) ক্রমশ বাড়ছে। অথচ এখনও অনেক ক্ষেত্রে শুধুমাত্র মহিলাদেরই বারবার পরীক্ষা করা হয়, আর পুরুষ সঙ্গীর মূল্যায়ন পিছিয়ে যায়। সচেতনতা বাড়ানো এবং সঠিক সময়ে সঠিক পরীক্ষা করা—এটাই এখন সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
এই কেসে মহিলাটি বারবার তার ডাক্তারদের অনুরোধ করেছিলেন যেন তার স্বামীরও পরীক্ষা করা হয়, কারণ তার নিজের সব রিপোর্টই বারবার স্বাভাবিক আসছিল। কিন্তু দুর্ভাগ্যজনকভাবে তার সেই অনুরোধ গুরুত্ব পায়নি।

আমি আনন্দের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে “Effect of age on antral follicle count, AMH levels and pregnancy outcomes in ART” বিষয়ে আমাদের গবেষণা একটি আন্তর্জাতিক জার্নালে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।

প্রজনন চিকিৎসা ও IVF কেয়ারের ক্ষেত্রে প্রমাণভিত্তিক জ্ঞানভাণ্ডারে অবদান রাখতে পেরে কৃতজ্ঞ।

অনেকেই আমাদের জিজ্ঞাসা করেন, AMH কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং এটি কি সাফল্যের সম্ভাবনা বোঝাতে সাহায্য করে। এই বিষয়টি আরও স্পষ্টভাবে বোঝার জন্যই আমরা গবেষণাটি করেছি। আমাদের পর্যবেক্ষণে দেখা গেছে, শুধুমাত্র AMH দিয়ে সাফল্য নির্ধারণ করা যায় না। বরং AFC (Antral Follicle Count) কিছু ক্ষেত্রে তুলনামূলকভাবে বেশি সহায়ক নির্দেশক হিসেবে কাজ করতে পারে।

I’m happy to share that our research on “Effect of age on antral follicle count, AMH levels and pregnancy outcomes in ART” has been published in an international journal.
Grateful to contribute to the growing evidence in reproductive medicine and IVF care.

We have patients asking us if AMH can predict their success or how important it is , we have tried to somewhat understand or reach to a consensus with this paper. AMH does not define or predict success. We found AFC ( Antral follicle count) to be a better predictor.
