Numbness plagues us....
We became numb to verbal abuses...
We became numb to threats by goons, politicians, managerial staff, non medical staff...
Gradually numbness had engulfed us when the physical abuses started....
Numb to the pain as it was not involving 'me'....
Numb due to the notion...the assumption that it could never happen to 'me'
Numbness due to a serious dysfunctional of the 'spinal cord'..
We developed spines for a little while, when our young colleague was 'almost'
killed when he took a brick in his skull....
But the serious dysfunction returned soon enough, we became numb again...
Numbness....from a serious dysfunction...that fails to keep our spines erect....has killed our spirits to the extent that, we are hardly enraged or even disturbed, when a colleague, a sister, a daughter, a student, is killed on duty, in a top medical school, probably after being violated.
Physician heal thyself....
Heal thy numbness...
Make your spine straight again....
Our child has been wronged....injustice has been done....a grave sin has been committed. ...
Serve her with justice...
Avenge her...
Keep her alive....
