CONTRARY to this belief, meditation is de-concentration or de-focusing and just letting your thoughts flow without reacting to them, just like we watch a movie. πŸ“½οΈπŸΏ

Doing this, for 20 minutes a day, helps your brain de-clutter. 🀯

For example, if you try to resist eating pastry on a particular day, you are tempted all the more, to eat it.
Similarly, while trying to compress or focus your thoughts, you are actually making your run wilder. So, allow them to just flow for 20 minutes without getting indulged in them.
