We had the pleasure of curating an exquisite Italian Farmers Market style dinner event for the Thakkar family from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, at the beautiful Kalhaar Blues and Greens private bungalow. 🍷🌿

Dinners strength - 400pax

Our bespoke menu featured:

Absolutely! Food presentation plays a significant role in our dining experience. It not only appeals to our eyes but also enhances our perception of taste. Aamras! 🥭🥭🥭Summer delight for any occasion.

Do you know?

Gujarat: Known as ‘Keri no ras’. It is flavored with ground ginger (sonth) and topped with warm ghee.

Rajasthan: Marwari family, aamras is flavored with saffron.

Maharashtra: Marathi households add cardamom powder to their aamras. And it is topped with a pinch of black pepper powder and ghee.

Must try!!! Baked Feta Pasta

Ingredient notes
Feta cheese 🧀 - block feta over crumbled is the best and easy option
Cherry tomatoes 🍅 - any tomatoes will work but cherry tomatoes nicely compliments the flavours of the feta.
Extra virgin olive oil 🫒
Black pepper - fresh cracked pepper
Garlic cloves 🧄
Fresh oregano and parsley 🌿- you can used the dried spices, but i think the fresh herbs really make this dish Italian.
Pasta - use your favourite pasta shape and variety
Water - stove-cooked pasta 🍝water if needed to adjust sauce consistency.
Sea salt – be cautious while handling salt as the baked feta sauce will be naturally salty.

Step to Cook🧑‍🍳

Preheat oven to 400 degrees °F. Place feta cheese and cherry tomatoes in baking dish. Add olive oil, black pepper, garlic, and oregano, stirring to coat tomatoes. Bake 25 minutes ⏰uncovered.

Cook pasta for your choice.

Once the both are baked and cooked, mix them well and serve with crostini or French bread.
