Project Abhisar, a joint venture of SocioEarth and Rotaract Club of Calcutta was successfully executed on 30th of June, 2021. The pouncing of the pandemic on the state of West Bengal has made it next to impossible for the people dwelling in and below the minimum wages to survive. The inflow of economy has successfully come to seizure. To make things even worse, the super cyclone, Yaas destroyed even the minimum of what they have earned all their lives. In such a situation, SocioEarth and Rotaract Club of Calcutta tried to initiate an endeavor to help the ill-fated with supplies. The total count of 200 families were benefitted from the Distribution Drive. The supplies distributed per family were Rice - 2kg, Salt - 1kg, Muri - 1kg, Chanachur - 250 gm, Chire - 1kg, Batasa - 500gm, Biscuit - 1 Packet, Powder Milk - 2 Packet, Water - 1 Litre, Soap - 1 piece, Mask - 2 pieces, Sanitizer - 50 ml. The project was done at Kultali Maipith Coastal Region, South 24 Parganas. We aspire to see more of such happy faces over and over again after the distribution were done.
