GALEAZZI FRACTURE- an eponymous name for Distal 1/3 rd Radius shaft fracture along with Distal radio ulnar joint injury. A very common injury associated with road traffic accidents.
This was a case we received, of a 28 year old male, involved in a road traffic accident. We operate him with ORIF and a LCDCP ( Limited contact dynamic compression plate). Uncomplicated surgery with a happy client. Post op rehabilitation is on and he’ll be back to his daily routine in no time.
Hopefully he’ll take better precautions and wear safety gears while driving or riding a bike henceforth. 😃

BOTH BONE FOREARM FRACTURE- a fracture of necessity. Needing absolute stability and immaculate reduction. This is a case presented to us yesterday. A 36 year old female with a direct trauma injury to her left forearm, resulting in a mid shaft both bone fracture. We operated it using Open reduction and internal fixation with LCDCP. Wound is healthy and post op rehabilitation has started. We expect our client to be back to notmal life activities soon..✌🏾

A case of Comminuted CLAVIVULAR fracture in a 40 yr old female. Respecting soft tissue integrity, we did a bridge plating after reducing the comminuted fragments.

Patient is doing well and would return to normal activity after , rehabilitation period. ☺️😇

SUPRA CONDYLAR HUMERUS FRACTURES- A very common injury among the paediatric age group. A healthy boy of 8 years of age, presented to us with such an injury.

Fortunately no neurovascular injuries were associated with this case. We performed a closed reduction and pin fixation for this case.

Our boy is stable, happy and doing well.. 😊
