As the summer heat approaches, here are some tips to protect yourself from harsh effects of heat and stay safe during summer months.
Stay Hydrated
1. Drink plenty of water throughout the day
2. Avoid sugary and caffeinated drinks that can dehydrate you
Dress Wisely
1. Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing that allows for good airflow
2. Choose breathable fabrics like cotton or linen.
Eat Cooling Foods
1. Eat foods that are cooling and hydrating, such as watermelon, cucumbers, and yogurt
2. Avoid hot and spicy foods that can raise your body temperature
