As a part of its CSR Texmaco Neighbourhood Welfare Society a philanthropic arm of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd., has set up a modern well-equipped Physiotherapy Centre “Texmaco Arogyam Physio Centre” at the Texmaco Estate premises, which has filled a void in northern part of Kolkata. There has been a steep increase in different orthopaedic problems like Joint disorder, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Back pain and also and neurological problems like Post Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Cerebral Palsy etc., which has direct impact on daily life, be it personal or professional. Texmaco has created a Health Hub in its premises that includes exclusive facilities of Physiotherapy, Gym, Yoga and Meditation. This centre is indeed meant to help individuals stay healthier, even if that simply means learning how to reduce stress and muscle strain amidst a job. It would help to trim the physique, lower the cholesterol and blood pressure, sleep better, and save money on prescriptions.
