For graduates of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga, Mahasamadhi Day is a sacred occasion. It marks the moment when a Great Soul—our beloved teacher—consciously left his physical body to experience Oneness with God and Oneness with all.
Mahasamadhi is the state a yogi enters when they consciously choose to leave the physical body. According to ancient yogic tradition, this state is possible only after the yogi has attained God-realization or Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

Chakras, or energy centres, are important keys to both self-development and spiritual growth.
Many ancient traditions have hinted at these subtle centres in symbolic ways. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna speaks of the body as a city with nine gates. In the Katha Upanishad, there is a reference to a city with eleven gates. In Kabbalistic teachings, the Tree of Life with ten fruits symbolically describes the structure of human consciousness.

The Centre for Pranic Healing, Kolkata is managed by a group of Pranic Healers and Arhatic Yoga practitioners who want to spread the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui throughout the world. As a Pranic Healing Centre, we are affiliated to the Yoga Vidya Pranic Healing Foundation of West Bengal, which in turn is licensed the World Pranic Healing Foundation (India) and the Institute for Inner Studies (Philippines).
The Centre for Pranic Healing, Kolkata currently offers a wide range of Pranic Healing treatments for a range of problems. We have a great team of Professional Pranic Healers (most of which are certified) who healing sessions. Additionally, we conduct a range of workshops and events to enable people to learn the wonderful art and science of Pranic Healing. Additionally, the centre also provides a range of programs to enable Pranic Healing Graduates to deepen their understanding of the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui.
The Centre was conceptualized and set-up by Saurabh Thirani in 2018. Saurabh is a Pranic Healer since 2001 (and Arhatic Yoga Graduate since 2002). He is also an Associate Certified Pranic Healer (2006) and a Certified Trainer (since 2010). He has also been an active volunteer with his local Pranic Healing Foundation (Yoga Vidya Pranic Healing Foundation of West Bengal) and supports the foundation by conducting regular nurturing and study sessions on the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, managing the https://pranickolkata.com website, and contributes towards managing the social media handles for the Foundation (@YVPHFWB on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
A little bit more by way of background, Saurabh has a Bachelors Degree in Economics (with Honours) Xavier’s College Kolkata and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from the prestigious XLRI Jamshedpur. Prior to starting the centre, Saurabh 16 years in the corporate sector with one of India’s Leading System Integrators (Cognizant Technology Solutions). Saurabh is also a proud father of triplets and the author of the bestselling book titled Spot the Next Economic Bubble (published by CNBC-TV18’s Broadcast18 in 2012) which is about Business Cycle Theory and speculative asset bubbles. In addition to the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, Saurabh also has a keen interest in the writing of HP Blavatsky (especially The Secret Doctrine).
The Centre for Pranic Healing, Kolkata is a project which is very close to Saurabh. Over the years he has benefited immensely from the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui since the time. In his own words Saurabh says: “Over the years Pranic Healing has become fundamentally part of my personal identify. It is one of the few things in my life that gives me a lot of happiness and joy – and hence I took a decision to share the amazing teachings of MCKS with a larger number of people. Thus, in August 2018 I decided to “call it a day” with my successful (and if I might say so high-paying) corporate career and to focus on the spread of the work of my beloved and respected teacher Master Choa Kok Sui.”
The Centre for Pranic Healing, Kolkata is all about contributing to the spread of MCKS Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. We welcome any new ideas, comments, contributions and support with open arms. It is our personal journey and mission to take all our collective experiences of everyone in our team as Pranic Healers, Arhatic Yoga practitioners, and Pranic Healing instructors to share the transformational power of the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui. Our purpose is to alleviate suffering and enable others improve the quality of their lives.
