It is with great satisfaction, tinged with a bit of sadness, that I address you, for the last time, as the Hony General Secretary of Diabetic Association of India, West Bengal, at the end of what I perceive, quite an eventful term of 3 + 1 years. How we have worked is for you all to judge, but I must admit that I really enjoyed working with all my seniors, colleagues, office staff, patients as well as the pharmaceutical industry. I thank each one of you for reposing the trust in me.
Over these 4 years, I feel we have achieved many things but, more importantly could not achieve many more that probably we should have.
Though I demit the all important office of Hony General Secretary, DAIWB in a few hours from now, I assure all my fellow members as well as the incoming committee, of my full co-operation, support and services which I would be privileged to render to the association to the best of my ability. Finally, if I ever have hurt anybody unintentionally on any matter, big or small, I appeal to your goodself to forgive me.
Let us all work together to make Diabetic Association of India, West Bengal a great organization.
Long live DAIWB
Nilanjan Sengupta
Hony General Secretary
