As summer is round the corner and we are picking up curd to cool down system

Here are some facts from Ayurveda about curd :
1) Too much curd can cause gastric irritation as it is sour and heavy to digest .
The best time to take Curd is morning time

2) Curd should not be heated as it loses its beneficial properties

3) People with obesity issues, kapha disorders, bleeding disorders and inflammatory problems should avoid curd.

Can millet cause constipation?

A grain that is free of gluten and high in fibre, millet can help control bowel motions and ward off constipation. Nevertheless, if you eat too much millet or don't drink enough water with your millet-based meals, it's likely that it could cause constipation.

Also, you can be more prone to constipation if you use medications or have a medical condition that affects your digestive system. To find out whether millet or any other meal could make your symptoms worse in such circumstances, it is essential to speak with a healthcare provider.

Is Sucralose a safer artificial sweetener?

Low-calorie artificial sweetener sucralose is frequently used as a sugar substitute in a variety of foods and beverages. Regulatory organisations around the world, including the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), and the World Health Organization, believe sucralose to be safe for ingestion (WHO).

Sucralose is a non-caloric sweetener approved globally for use in foods and beverages. Studies have shown that sucralose is poorly absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract and most of it is excreted unchanged in f***s. There is no retention or build-up in the body with long-term use, and no evidence of either dechlorination or hydrolysis of sucralose to metabolites in any species. Toxicology studies and carcinogenicity studies have repeatedly demonstrated that sucralose is safe. Previous and recent clinical trials have also found no effect of sucralose on glycemic control and gut hormones and/or gut function. Studies reporting changes allegedly due to sucralose have significant limitations, limiting data interpretation. The intakes of sucralose in all members of the population are consistently found to be safe.

Sucralose's safety has been the subject of numerous research, all of which have consistently shown that it is safe to consume. The FDA has established an acceptable daily dose (ADI) for sucralose of 5 milligrammes per kilogramme of body weight, which is the maximum daily intake that can be used without any known side effects.

Can peanuts increase weight ?

Like many other foods, peanuts also contain calories that, if consumed in excess of daily energy needs, may result in weight gain. However, adding moderate amounts of peanuts to a diet that is otherwise well-balanced is not likely to result in weight gain.

Protein, fibre, and good unsaturated fats found in peanuts might make you feel content and full. The promotion of weight maintenance or weight loss can be aided by including peanuts in a nutritious diet that is balanced with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.

It's crucial to remember that eating too much of any food, including peanuts, can result in weight gain.

A small handful, of peanuts constitutes a serving and has roughly 160–170 calories.
