In the last video, we learned about the function of behavior.
Here we are going to learn how to analyse a behavior.

ABC Model in Behavior Therapy

The ABC model is a fundamental tool in behavior therapy that helps us understand and change our behavior patterns. It stands for Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence.

Antecedent (A)
The antecedent is the event or situation that triggers a behavior. It could be an internal trigger, such as a thought or emotion, or an external trigger, such as a person, place, or thing.

Behavior (B)
The behavior is the observable response to the antecedent. It could be anything from a physical action to a thought or feeling.

Consequence (C)
The consequence is the outcome of the behavior. It could be positive or negative.

How the ABC Model Works
The ABC model works by helping us identify the antecedents and consequences of our behavior. Once we understand these factors, we can begin to change our behavior by changing the antecedents or the consequences.

The function of behavior is the reason or purpose behind an action.
It's the "why" behind what an organism does. Understanding the function of behavior is important because it helps us:

* Predict behavior: Knowing the function of a behavior allows us to anticipate when and how it might occur.
* Change behavior: By understanding the function, we can develop effective interventions to modify or eliminate unwanted behaviors.
* Improve communication: Understanding the function of behavior can help us communicate more effectively with others, both humans and animals.
* Gain insight into mental processes: Studying the function of behavior can provide valuable insights into the underlying motivations and decision-making processes of individuals.

There are four primary functions of behavior:
* Attention: The behavior is performed to get the attention of others.
* Escape/avoidance: The behavior is performed to avoid or escape from an unpleasant situation or demand.
* Tangible: The behavior is performed to gain access to a desired object or activity.
* Sensory: The behavior is performed to seek or avoid sensory stimulation.
By understanding these functions, we can better understand and interpret the behaviors of ourselves and others.

আজকাল ঘরে ঘরে বাচ্চাদের হাতে মোবাইল ফোন.. সারাক্ষণ বাচ্চা cartoon দেখছে, rhymes দেখছে... এই সমস্যা নিয়ে অনেক parents খুব চিন্তিত....
এই বিষয়টিকে আমি কয়েকটা part-এ ভাগ করে আমার এই video....
