Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre, New Town (NBWCCC NT) conducted a Health Awareness Session on Paediatric Emergencies on 26th August 2025 at Mongrace Montessori School, Park Street. The interactive session was led by Dr. Soumitra Dutta, Senior Consultant ,Paediatrics & Neonatology, NBWCCC NT, who shared essential knowledge with teachers and staff on identifying and managing emergency situations in children.

Children with Down Syndrome are often born with congenital heart conditions such as PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus). This little one’s journey was even more challenging, as the defect was of a rare and complex type. At Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre, New Town, our Paediatric Cardiac Sciences team - Dr. Aritra Mukherjee (Paediatric Interventional & Foetal Cardiologist) and Dr. Sanjiban Ghosh (Paediatric Interventional & Foetal Cardiologist) successfully performed the closure, giving this child a stronger heartbeat and a healthier future.
