They were ordinary people but extraordinary in their achievement in the sense that they helped foster and develop the latent talents of their students who would become world citizens through their genius and excellence. Somesh Dasgupta was a poet and in his lifetime had tried to pursue poetry as a passion. Nandita Dasgupta was a fabulous pianist and had taught in such esteemed institutions such as CSM, etc. She was also well known in the western music circuit in Kolkata. They were both very passionate about Poetry and Music and this page is designed to bring together all those people who believe that they can elevate life from the drudgery of everyday existence. This foundation will primarily promote Poetry and Music on the net itself. Anybody can post their poetry on this page and every quarter we will bring out a Net Magazine which will contain the best of the contributions. Along with this anybody can post an elocution or a song based on the poems written by themselves or otherwise and it will also be part of the Net-Mag. If anybody wants to download a certain piece it is our request that one should do a barter. This will help increase the volume of the library as well as the circulation of the material. At the end of the year this foundation will felicitate 5 best poets and Musicians by way of a one-time scholarship and a Certificate of Appreciation. A panel of renowned poets, academics and musicians will be advising us for the same. Besides Poetry and Music, one can send in articles, views, reviews, discourse, short stories, photographs, etc. Only the best will be part of the NetMag. All material for the Net-Mag needs to come to the email address udg3012@gmail.com also. This is a non-profit making organisation and it runs on donations.
