Sundays....And the sordid saga of stupid specimens stuck in strange spaces!
Coins, meat bones and artificial dentures stuck in food pipes are regular events. This time, it was a denture ππΆππ΅ ππ΅π² ππΌπΌππ΅ π»πΌπ π²ππ²π» π½πΏπ²ππ²π»π πΆπ» πΆπ (the patient wearing the broken thing just out of habit) ! Well, she swallowed it on a Sunday and it needed to be extracted from her oesophagus in Emergency OT under General Anaesthesia!
