HCG hosted a landmark Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme in Kolkata titled “Decoding the Future of Cancer Care – Harnessing Next-Generation Intelligence to Transform Patient Outcomes,” led by Dr. B. S. Ajaikumar, Founder and Chairman, HCG.

The high-impact forum brought together leading oncologists and multidisciplinary specialists from across Eastern India with a clear goal: delivering the right treatment, the first time—through precision medicine, genomics, advanced diagnostics, AI-enabled tools, and structured outcomes-driven data systems.

Dr. Ajaikumar emphasized the importance of applying innovation with clinical rigour, supported by disciplined data collection, longitudinal outcome tracking, and multidisciplinary, evidence-based decision-making to improve long-term patient outcomes and reduce recurrence.

Adding to this vision, Dr. Manish Mattoo, CEO & Executive Director, HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd., highlighted that the future of oncology lies in building systems that consistently enable the right treatment decisions at the right time. On the occasion of World Cancer Day, faculty and students from Sister Nivedita University were invited for an awareness session focused on the importance of vaccination in cancer prevention, where HCG Cancer Centre Kolkata stepped into a new beginning with it’s Vaccination Clinic Launch.
The session was led by Dr. Sanchayan Mandal, Senior Consultant – Medical Oncology, who shared key insights on how timely vaccination can play a crucial role in preventive healthcare.
We were also honored by the presence of our Regional Business Head (East & AP, Healthcare Global), Dr. Rupali Basu, and Chief Operating Officer, HCG Kolkata, Mr. Gurvinder Singh, who addressed the gathering and shared their thoughts on collective responsibility towards cancer awareness.
