Advancing Surgical Excellence with Robotic Training at HCG Kolkata with ROBOFUSION 2025.

On August 8th and 9th, HCG Kolkata hosted a Robotic Surgery Training Program led by our expert team which includes Dr Rajeev Sharan (HOD & Sr Consultant, Head and Neck Oncology & Robotics), Dr Gaurav Aggarwal (HOD & Sr Consultant, Uro-Oncology & Robotics) and Dr Karan Sehgal (Associate Consultant, Surgical Oncology & Robotics).

The program featured expert presentations, robotic surgery videos, and Q&A, followed by hands-on dry lab training. Day two saw GI, Gynaecology, Urology and other specialists participate in a wet lab session with the da Vinci X Robotic System, enhancing skills in advanced, minimally invasive surgery.

On 1st August 2025, HCG Cancer Centre, Newtown, Kolkata hosted the Swasthya Bondhu Meet, a special gathering of over 30 NGOs working closely with cancer patients across the region.

The event aimed to foster collaboration, raise awareness on cancer care, and strengthen community-based support for patients and caregivers.

The session featured valuable insights and encouragement from our expert clinical team —
