🧘‍♀️ Hip Opener – Release Built-Up Tension

Your hips carry the weight of stillness—let’s bring in some movement.
This pose gently opens tight hips, often stiff from sitting too long.

Sit tall on your chair with both feet on the ground.
Now, place one ankle over the opposite knee—making a number “4” shape.
Flex the top foot to protect the knee.
Feeling steady? Hinge slightly forward from the hips to deepen the stretch.
Hold for 3–5 deep, conscious breaths, then switch sides.

Let’s open up the space we often forget—the heart.
This pose is all about undoing the forward collapse from long hours of typing and texting.

Sit tall on your chair with both feet firmly on the ground.
Hold the sides or backrest of the chair gently.
Roll the shoulders back and down, open the chest forward, and lift the heart.
Gaze slightly up if comfortable.
Stay here for 3–5 deep breaths.

🌈 Seated Side Stretch – Lengthen & Breathe

It’s time to move sideways — something we rarely do during long desk hours!

Sit tall on your chair with both feet grounded.
Hold the side of the chair with one hand for support.
Inhale, lift the opposite arm up toward the ceiling.
Exhale, lean gently to the side, creating space from hip to fingertips.
Keep both sit bones grounded. Feel the stretch along the side body and breathe into it for 3–5 slow breaths.
Repeat on the other side.

– Relieves stiffness in the spine and waist
– Opens up the ribcage to enhance breath

Every class will start with Asanas which are done with props to enable the practitioner to hold the poses for longer duration. Using props will also enable to create space in the body with less effort which will later on help with the practice of Pranayama. Will conclude the class with various techniques for Pranayama and followed by a short seating for Meditation. OM🙏
