“Infertility is often discussed in numbers, reports, and treatment protocols.
But behind every case file is a story of silent grief, strained relationships, anxiety, guilt, and unanswered questions.

Today, I spoke at the India’s only fertility conclave about the mental health impact of infertility — the depression that hides behind brave smiles, the social pressure that weighs heavily (especially on women), the self-blame, the isolation, and the fear of being ‘incomplete.’ And most importantly how to take care of one’s mental health during this journey.

Reproductive health is not just biological. It is deeply emotional.
And healing must address both the body and the mind.

Because no one should have to suffer silently while trying to create life.”

As a doctor and an artist, I see two things clearly —
What smoke does to the body.
And what it hides behind the face.
For women, smoking isn’t equal damage — it’s often greater harm.
In women, smoking significantly increases the risk of:
• Coronary artery disease
• Stroke
• Lung & cervical cancer
• Infertility and poor pregnancy outcomes
• Early menopause
• Osteoporosis
• Worsening anxiety and mood disorders

Ni****ne creates dependence.
But awareness creates choice.

This sketch is not judgement.
It’s prevention.
Ni****ne doesn’t empower.
It erodes — slowly, invisibly.

The Times of India speaks to Dr.Charan on the rising concern of online gambling and its impact on youth mental health.
Behind the thrill lies anxiety, impulsivity, financial distress, and addiction patterns that can deeply affect young minds.

Awareness, early intervention, and open conversations are the need of the hour.

Ageing is not a disease; it is a phase that deserves understanding, structured medical care, emotional support, and respect.

Proud to be part of a team that believes in healthy ageing, not just longer living.

On a rocky trail in Jawai, the hills decided to move.
Three leopards, calm and commanding — a reminder of how small we are in the wild. Jawai whispered, and the wild answered.
