“Infertility is often discussed in numbers, reports, and treatment protocols.
But behind every case file is a story of silent grief, strained relationships, anxiety, guilt, and unanswered questions.
Today, I spoke at the India’s only fertility conclave about the mental health impact of infertility — the depression that hides behind brave smiles, the social pressure that weighs heavily (especially on women), the self-blame, the isolation, and the fear of being ‘incomplete.’ And most importantly how to take care of one’s mental health during this journey.
Reproductive health is not just biological. It is deeply emotional.
And healing must address both the body and the mind.
Because no one should have to suffer silently while trying to create life.”
