I'm fully vaccinated & will get a booster too …... No, I don't know "what's in it". Neither this vaccine nor the ones I had as a child. Nor do I know what's in the 11 secret herbs and spices at KFC. I also don't know exactly what's in Ibuprofen or any other painkiller - they just treat my headaches & my pains. I don't know what's in tattoo ink, botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap, shampoo or deodorants. I don’t know the long term effect of mobile phone use, or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.

There's a lot of things I don't know.
I do know one thing: life is short. Very short. And I, personally, still want to do things. I want to travel and hug people without fear, and find a little feeling of life "before".

Throughout my life I've been vaccinated against many diseases: Measles, mumps, rubella, polio, chickenpox, hepatitis, influenza, tetanus. We trusted the science, and never had to suffer through or transmit any of those said diseases.

I'm vaccinated.
Not because I’m a sheep or to please the government.
Not to make other people do it.
But I don't want to:
* die from Covid-19
* clutter a hospital bed if I get sick
* not be able to hug my loved ones
* not be able to travel & enjoy events
* live my life in fear

Can't say it any clearer.
I'm vaccinated for ME and I wear a mask for YOU!!!

❣️WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY❣️ June 14
Safe blood saves lives

This year, World Blood Donor Day will once again be celebrated around the world on 14 June. The event serves to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gift of blood and also to raise awareness of the need for regular blood donations to ensure that all individuals and communities have access to affordable and timely supplies of safe and quality-assured blood and blood products, as an integral part of universal health coverage and a key component of effective health systems.
NEED OF BLOOD DONATION
The world needs enough safe blood for everyone in need.
* Every few seconds, someone, somewhere, needs blood.
*Transfusions of blood and blood products save millions of lives every year.
*Health is a human right; everyone in the world should have access to safe blood transfusions, when and where they need them.
*Regular blood donations are needed all over the world to ensure individuals and communities have access to safe and quality-assured blood and blood products.
*Everyone who can donate blood should consider making regular voluntary, unpaid donations, so that all countries have adequate blood supplies.
*Ensuring the safety and well-being of blood donors is critical; it helps build commitment to regular donations.
*Access to safe blood and blood product is essential for universal health coverage and a key component of effective health systems.
*Blood and blood products are essential to care for:
❣️women with pregnancy and childbirth associated bleeding;
❣️children with severe anaemia due to malaria and malnutrition;
❣️patients with blood and bone marrow disorders, inherited disorders of haemoglobin and immune deficiency conditions;
❣️people with traumatic injuries in emergencies, disasters and accidents; and
