State Executive Committee Meeting of NIMA Punjab Successfully Held at Hotel Taj, Moga
Punjab, August 10, 2025 — The State Executive Committee (EC) meeting of the National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) Punjab was held with great enthusiasm at Hotel Taj, Moga on August 10, 2025. The event, hosted by the NIMA Kot Ise Khan branch, witnessed the participation of about 120 doctors from over 25 district branches across Punjab, making it one of the most significant gatherings of the year.
The National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) is the largest professional organization of qualified Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha doctors in India, working towards integrating traditional systems with modern medical advancements. Established with the aim of improving healthcare accessibility and quality, NIMA has been actively involved in medical education, public health awareness, and the professional welfare of its members.

The academic highlight of the event was an insightful lecture by Dr. K.C. Mukherjee on heart diseases, where he discussed the latest advancements in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. His address was highly appreciated by the attendees for its depth and practical relevance.
A major announcement during the meeting was the launch of the Surakhsha Scheme for Professional Indemnity Insurance for NIMA members, aimed at providing legal and financial protection to practitioners in the event of professional liability claims.
