Welcome to the divine home of Shirdi Sai Baba located in the picturesque mountains of Kotagiri, a hill station located just a few hours from Chennai and a short drive away from Coimbatore. We, the devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba - His life, His way and His will, have come together to create an eco-friendly village, which will meet with your every spiritual need. Our calling is one of expression and action. To live this life with devotion, we must love, share and transform the world in the ways that Sai lived - a moral code of love, forgiveness, helping others, contentment, inner peace, and devotion to Guru (God) - with no distinction based on one’s gender, religion, caste or creed.

These tenants of charity, acceptance and peaceful contemplation drive our mission forward. As disciples and children of Shirdi Sai, we are serving Him and making His presence global - through love and spiritual wisdom. Sai Tapovan is not exactly a temple or an ashram (monastery). It is simply your divine home, a unique spiritual retreat center, where you can come and meditate, pray and attend spiritual discourses (satsangs); it is a place where you can meet other spiritually like minded people, who walk this spiritual journey with you and with whom you can talk, cook, eat and share ideas to improve this world and help humanity. It is a place where you can forget the worries of your chaotic life and find inner balance, harmony and peace.

There is no ultimate Guru other than you yourself. Sai Tapovan will help awaken the Guru in you, so that you realize yourself and return to your enlightened state. There will be Annadhaan (food offered to the poor) and spiritual sessions (yoga and meditation) conducted on a regular basis at the center.
