A pair of root stumps of the third molar (wisdom tooth). It was fairly difficult to remove. However, we managed to extract it with minimal trauma.

The patient came to get his stitches removed after a week. He was happy with the results.

A patient approached us with pain in the lower right back tooth region. On examination, we found a root stump. Further examination through a radiograph revealed an extra root stump.
The patient was given local anaesthesia and instrumentation began after 10 minutes.
After reflection using a periosteal elevator, the mesial root was gripped using a root forceps - however the stump was grossly decayed and the coronal portion broke off some more.
Coupland elevator was used to remove both the roots afterwards.
