*മാലാഖമാരുടെ ദിനം; അമ്മമാരുടെയും.*

ഇന്ന് മെയ് 12 ലോക നഴ്‌സസ് ദിനം .
ആതുര സേവന രംഗത്തെ മാലാഖമാരുടെ ദിവസം . രോഗങ്ങളും അപകടങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകാൻ ആരും ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല. പക്ഷേ ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ അവ നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തെ വെല്ലുവിളിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് നമുക്ക് മുന്നിലെത്തുന്നു. ആ നേരം ജീവൻ്റെ കാവലായി പ്രതീക്ഷയുടെയും ആശ്വാസത്തിൻ്റെയും കൈത്താങ്ങായി നമുക്ക് മുന്നിലെത്തുന്നവരാണ് നമ്മുടെ നഴ്സുമാർ . നമ്മുടെ സുരക്ഷയും ആരോഗ്യവും വീണ്ടെടുക്കാൻ തീവ്രയത്‌നം നടത്തുന്നവർ.

2024 ലോക നഴ്സസ് ദിനത്തിൻ്റെ കേന്ദ്ര ആശയം സാമ്പത്തിക ശാക്തീകരണത്തിലൂടെയുള്ള കരുതൽ (economic power of care) എന്നതാണ്. ഒരു രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക വളർച്ച നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത് ആ രാജ്യത്തിലെ പൗരന്മാരുടെ ആരോഗ്യത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ചാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ആരോഗ്യരംഗത്തെ സാമ്പത്തിക നിക്ഷേപം വൃഥാവിലാകുന്നില്ല. സുസ്ഥിര സാമ്പത്തികാടിസ്ഥനത്തിൽ മാത്രമേ മികച്ച സുരക്ഷ നമുക്ക് ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ കഴിയൂ.

ആരോഗ്യമേഖയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ശക്തമായ കർമസാന്നിധ്യമായ നഴ്സുമാർക്ക് എല്ലാ സ്നേഹാശംസകളും. സാന്ത്വനത്തിൻ്റെ അണയാത്ത നാളമേന്തുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും നല്ലതുവരട്ടെ .

ഇന്നത്തെ ദിവസത്തിന് മറ്റൊരു സവിശേഷത കൂടി ഉണ്ട് . ഇന്ന് ലോക മാതൃദിനമാണ് . പരിചരണത്തിൻ്റെ മാലാഖമാരുടെ ദിനവും സ്നേഹവാത്സല്യത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രതീകമായ അമ്മമാരുടെ ദിനവും ഒരുമിച്ച് വന്നത് മനോഹരമായൊരു യാദൃശ്ചികത ആവാം. എല്ലാ വർഷവും മെയ് മാസത്തിലെ രണ്ടാം ഞായറാഴ്ചയാണ് മാതൃദിനമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്.

ഗർഭകാലം മുതൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ്റെ ജീവിതകാലം മുഴുവനും അവൻ്റെ ഉടലിനും ഉയിരിനും ഉയർച്ചയ്ക്കും താങ്ങായി തണലായി നിൽകുന്ന സ്നേഹസാന്നിധ്യമാണ് അമ്മ . ആ വാക്കിന് പകരം വയ്ക്കാൻ മറ്റൊന്നില്ല.

സ്നേഹത്തിൻ്റെ ആ യാത്രയിൽ അമ്മമാർക്ക് പലതും നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്. പലതും അവർ വേണ്ടെന്ന് വയ്ക്കുന്നുണ്ട് . ആ നഷ്ടങ്ങളും ത്യാഗങ്ങളും ആണ് നമ്മെ ഓരോരുത്തരെയും രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്. ലോകത്തെ എല്ലാ അമ്മമാർക്കും ഹൃദയം നിറഞ്ഞ സ്നേഹം.

പ്രിയമുള്ള ജനാധിപത്യ വിശ്വാസികളെ

ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ജാധിപത്യ രാജ്യമായ നാം മറ്റൊരു തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെക്കൂടി അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുകയാണ്. നമ്മുടെ ജനാധിപത്യ അവകാശങ്ങൾ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാവി രൂപപ്പെടുത്താനുള്ള ശക്തി നമുക്ക് നൽകുന്നു, ഓരോ വോട്ടും പുരോഗതിയുടെയും വികസനത്തിൻ്റെയും കൂട്ടായ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടിലേക്ക് സംഭാവന ചെയ്യുന്ന ശബ്ദമാണ്.

വോട്ട് ഒരു അവകാശം മാത്രമല്ല; അത് പൗരന്മാർ എന്ന നിലയിൽ നമുക്ക് നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത്വമാണ്. ഭരണത്തിലും നയങ്ങളിലും നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള ദിശയിലും അർത്ഥവത്തായ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്താനുള്ള അവസരമാണിത്. ഓരോ വോട്ടിനും മികച്ച മാറ്റങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരാനും നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന പ്രധാന പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിക്കാനുമുള്ള കഴിവുണ്ട്.

ശരിയായ നേതാക്കളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നത് പരമപ്രധാനമാണ്. സമഗ്രത, അർപ്പണബോധം, കാഴ്ചപ്പാട്, ജനങ്ങളെ സേവിക്കാനുള്ള യഥാർത്ഥ പ്രതിബദ്ധത തുടങ്ങിയ ഗുണങ്ങൾ നാം തേടണം. നമ്മുടെ നേതാക്കൾ ജനാധിപത്യ മൂല്യങ്ങളിൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായ സുതാര്യത, ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം എന്നി മൂല്യങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ച്‌ സമൂഹത്തിലെ എല്ലാ വിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും ഒരുപോലെ പരിഗണിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വരും തലമുറകൾക്ക് ശോഭനമായ ഭാവി ഉറപ്പാക്കാനും അശ്രാന്തമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കണം.

നമ്മുടെ വോട്ടിൻ്റെ ശക്തിയെ നമ്മൾ കുറച്ചുകാണരുത്. ഓരോ ബാലറ്റും കൂടുതൽ ശക്തവും ഊർജസ്വലവുമായ ജനാധിപത്യം കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ചുവടുവെപ്പാണ്. ചരിത്രത്തെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്താനും നമുക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും അഭിമാനിക്കാവുന്ന ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രം സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനുമുള്ള അവസരമാണിത്. അതിനാൽ, ഈ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ , നമ്മുടെ വോട്ടുകൾക്ക് യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ മാറ്റമുണ്ടാക്കാൻ കഴിയുമെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്, ബോധ്യത്തോടെയും ഉത്തരവാദിത്തത്തോടെയും നമ്മുടെ ജനാധിപത്യ അവകാശം വിനിയോഗിക്കാം.

മറക്കാനാകാത്ത അനുഭവങ്ങൾ പകർന്ന് കടന്നു പോയ രമേശൻ ചേട്ടൻ ..

അത്യന്തം വേദനയുടെ നിമിഷങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് കടന്ന് പോകുന്നത്. കാരിത്താസിൻ്റെ രമേശൻ നായർ എന്ന രമേശൻ ചേട്ടൻ വിടവാങ്ങി.
2016 മുതലുള്ള ഊഷ്മളമായ ബന്ധമാണ് രമേശൻ ചേട്ടനുമായി എനിക്കുള്ളത് . കാണുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം മുഖത്ത് പുഞ്ചിരിയും ഉള്ളിൽ വിനയവും ജോലിത്തിരക്കിൻ്റെ ഉൽസാഹവുമായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. കാരിത്താസിൻ്റെ പ്രതിസന്ധികളിൽ രമേശൻ സാറേ എന്ന ഒരു വിളിയിൽ ബിനു അച്ചാ എന്ന് മറുവിളിയോടെ ഓടിവന്ന് കൂടെ നിന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് . എത്ര ആഘോഷങ്ങളിലും ഹോം ഡെയിലും ആഘോഷത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായും കാരിത്താസിൻ്റെ കാവൽക്കാരനായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് രമേശൻ നായർ . വളരെക്കാലം ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അതിർത്തി കാത്ത ധൈര്യവും കർമനിരതയും ആണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ വ്യക്തിത്വത്തെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. കാരിത്താസിലെ മികച്ച സ്റ്റാഫിനുള്ള അവാർഡും അദ്ദേഹം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

കാരിത്താസ് ആശുപത്രിയുടെ സ്വന്തം രമേശൻ ചേട്ടൻ ഇനിയില്ല.. മഹാരോഗത്തേയും പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സധൈര്യം നേരിടാനും ഊർജ്ജസ്വലനായി, കർമ്മനിരതനായി എപ്പോഴും മുന്നിൽ നിൽകുവാനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു . ഒന്നര പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകാലം കാരിത്താസിനൊപ്പം ജീവിച്ച വ്യക്തിത്വമായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. ' കാരിത്താസിൽ ഹൗസ് കീപ്പിംഗ് മാനേജരായി സേവനം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച് വരികയായിരുന്നു.
തന്നിൽ അർപ്പിതമാകുന്ന ജോലി തികഞ്ഞ ആത്മാർത്ഥതയോടെ ചെയ്ത് തീർക്കുന്ന
ശ്രീ രമേശൻ നായർ പുതു തലമുറക്ക് എല്ലാ രീതിയിലും വഴികാട്ടിയാണ്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ കുടുംബത്തിൻ്റെ നഷ്ടത്തിൽ
കാരിത്താസ് കുടുംബo വേദനയോടെ, പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെ പങ്കുചേരുന്നു .

വിശുദ്ധിയുടെയും ത്യാഗത്തിന്റെയും ദിവസങ്ങളാണ് കടന്നു പോകുന്നത്. .. ഇന്ന് പെസഹാ വ്യാഴം.. വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാനയുടെ ദിവസമാണിത് . പൗരോഹിത്യത്തിന്റെയും ഏറ്റവും പുണ്യ ദിനവും . പെസഹാ എന്ന വാക്കിൻറെ അർഥം തന്നെ കടന്നു പോകൽ എന്നാണ് ... ദൈവപുത്രൻ അങ്ങനെയാണ് കടന്നു പോയത് .. ഏറ്റവും സൗമ്യമായി ..

തന്റെ അവസാനത്തെ അത്താഴത്തിന് മുൻപ് അദ്ദേഹം സ്വന്തം ശിഷ്യഗണങ്ങളുടെ കാൽ കഴുകി... എന്തൊരു പ്രവൃത്തിയാണത് ...!
