കാരിത്താസ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് ആൻഡ് മൈക്രോവാസ്കുലർ സർജറി ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റും കൈരളി പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് സർജറി അസോസിയേഷനും (KPSA) ചേർന്ന് ‘ബേസിക്സ് ഓഫ് ക്രേനിയോഫേഷ്യൽ ഫിക്സേഷൻ’ (Basics of Craniofacial Fixation) കോഴ്സ് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ജനുവരി 10, 11 തീയതികളിൽ കാരിത്താസ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ ഡയമണ്ട് ജൂബിലി കോൺഫറൻസ് ഹോളിൽ വച്ചായിരിക്കും ക്ലാസ്സുകൾ നടക്കുക.

പ്രമുഖ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് സർജന്മാരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ഈ കോഴ്സിൽ വിവിധ വിഷയങ്ങളിലുള്ള ലെക്ചറുകളും വിദേശ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തിയുള്ള ഹാൻഡ്സ്-ഓൺ വർക്ക് സ്റ്റേഷനുകളും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഡ്രില്ലിംഗ്, സ്ക്രൂ ഫിക്സേഷൻ, ബോൺ കട്ടിംഗ് തുടങ്ങിയവയിൽ നേരിട്ടുള്ള പരിശീലനം ട്രെയിനികൾക്ക് ഇതിലൂടെ ലഭിക്കും.
