Strengthening the Future of Transfusion Medicine

We are proud to announce the inauguration of the MVR Blood Centre at its new strategic location within the MVR Cancer Centre & Research Institute. Now established as the Nodal Centre of the MVR Blood Transfusion Service Network (MVR BTSN), this advanced facility marks a significant leap forward in our commitment to accessible and high-quality blood care.

Spanning 6,500 sq. ft., the upgraded centre is fully equipped and licensed for the preparation, storage, and issuance of 23 type blood components—making it the only one of its kind in Kerala.

Functioning as the operational hub of MVR BTSN, the centre now connects a robust network of 16 partner blood centres, ensuring streamlined, timely, and uninterrupted blood logistics across the region.

This milestone is more than an infrastructural upgrade—
It’s a reaffirmation of our mission to save lives through precision, efficiency, and excellence in transfusion medicine.
