FIRST IN KERALA - ISOLATED SINGLE CHAMBER ATRIAL AAIR LEADLESS PACING FOR SICK SINUS SYNDROME - - Intracardiac echo GUIDED - we at Metromed international cardiac centre , calicut performed this in a 75 year old with symptomatic sick sinus syndrome with good AV conduction . ABBOTT AVEIR AR device is screwed in the base of RA appendage under ICE and fluro guidance . Good electrical parameters . Advantage is if needed another ventricular device can be later implanted and upgraded to dual chamber Leadless if need arises.
