Obesity, sedentary lifestyle, and lack of physical exercise are major contributors to cancers such as liver, cervical, and esophageal cancer. Environmental pollution in air, water, and food, along with unhealthy eating habits like processed, tinned, or salted foods and low intake of fresh vegetables and fruits, can also increase cancer risk. Fresh fruits and leafy vegetables provide antioxidants that help counteract genetic changes.

Other causes include overexposure to sun rays, certain infections like hepatitis and HPV, and genetic factors. Some people ask, “I don’t have any bad habits, so why did I get cancer?” Genetics, combined with environmental factors, can sometimes cause early cancer even in healthy individuals. By maintaining a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly, and eating fresh, nutritious foods, we can help protect our genes and reduce the risk of cancer.

The Breast Centre is unique in Vijayawada as it offers total breast care under one roof.

The Breast Centre provides comprehensive assessment, investigation, treatment and counseling for all breast problems by an expert women team. We have started Breast Center with the intention of providing excellent care to women in a very comfortable non intimidating environment.

Our goal is to take care of the most common, seemingly benign but troublesome problems that almost every woman comes across at some point in her life in a very private setting, so that she will feel absolutely comfortable and respected.

We are focusing at promoting breast cancer awareness, education by offering variety of education programs to our physician and public community. Our aim is to promote early breast cancer detection in women by screening mammogram, offer excellent multidisciplinary treatment for breast cancer and making a difference in the outcome.
