A 19 year female cricketer presented with b/l leg pain and back pain for the past few months and was unable to play the sport. There was L5-S1 instability on X rays. She underwent microscopic minimally invasive TLIF L5-S1 with small incisions and mobilized in 3 hours of surgery. She is doing well now.

A young male presented with symptoms and signs of cervical myelo-radiculopathy with severe radiating pain in the left hand. His MRI showed signal changes in the spinal cord. He underwent a 2 level ACDF(Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion) and was discharged on the second day. He is recovering well. Cervical Myelopathy is usually a progressive disease and can lead to permanent weakness in the hands and legs if it is not addressed timely.

This lady presented to me on a wheel chair with a history of back pain and severe lower limb radiculopathy for the past one year. She went a discectomy long back(>10 years) for similar complaints. On the scans, she had a huge disc prolapse at L3-L4. She underwent a TLIF(Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody fusion) and was mobilized on the same day. Went back to her home happily walking. Happy to see her recovery.
