Gods own country, Kerala is known by its vast heritage and famous temples. That’s why “Paruthikkottumanna sree mahadeva kshetra” is famous among them. Due to its old age and architectural designs this temple is attracted by visitors. But it lost its pride a lot to superstitious believe and affected by the effect of anti-social elements. But its heritage stood stun even through its effect. The religious mind people come in groups and started a committee named “kerala satra samrakshika samithi” by registration under the government and started their work in the march 2009. They started the famous yoga named “ashtamangalya” under the control of Kerala satra samskarika samithi. Famous religious leaders like Kadalundi Shiju panicker, Muralidhara panicker, Chandra panicker, mostly participated in the ceremony. As a continuation they alone the famous “Balaya pradhista” in the month may 2009. in every Monday, in the beginning of the month, and famous red marked days in the cutender they started yogas, Prathista’s etc. for the sake of God. In November 7, 8, 9 they done ‘sudhi kalasha’ to their God. They could excavate the reminents of the ancient temple with eight months of work only. The works which need financial help were done by the help of local people. We expect co-operation from all kinds of local people to renovate the temple into former statue. The renovation needs thousand of money. so we earnestly request you to co-operate and help at the concentration of the temple.
