Psoriatic Arthritis is an inflammatory joint condition commonly associated with psoriasis, a skin disorder that causes red, scaly patches. Beyond affecting the skin, this condition can lead to joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and fatigue, often impacting daily movement and overall quality of life.
If left untreated, psoriatic arthritis may gradually damage joints and surrounding tissues. Early recognition of symptoms such as swollen fingers or toes, nail changes, persistent joint stiffness, or unexplained back pain allows timely medical management and helps protect long-term joint function.
A proper orthopaedic and rheumatologic evaluation is important to control inflammation, reduce pain, and maintain joint mobility through a personalised treatment approach.
