Join the Pink Wave for Breast Cancer Awareness!
We are proud to share a message from Dr. Gaurav Agrawal, Endocrine & Breast Surgeon and Convener of the SGPGI Breast Health Program, about the critical importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October).

Breast cancer is the commonest cancer affecting women in India, but when detected early, it is curable in the vast majority of patients. Lack of awareness, however, means many women are diagnosed at a late stage.

To address this, the SGPGI Breast Health Program has partnered with the Association of 41 Clubs of India, Area 9, and other social organizations to host the “Pink Wave” event.

Event Details (Sunday, 5th October, 2025):

Walkathon (Flagged off from the 1090 Crossing at approx. 7:00 AM)

Vintage Car Rally

Chipping & Putting Competition

We encourage everyone to join us for this walk to spread awareness about simple, easy practices like breast self-examination and participating in screening programs.

Let’s unite for health, awareness, and support!
