C7 Radiculopathy – Clinical Correlation
Compression of the C7 nerve root, commonly due to cervical disc herniation at C6-C7, manifests with a classic radicular pain pattern extending along the posterior arm, dorsum of the forearm, and into the middle finger.
Neurological findings often include:
• Motor weakness: triceps brachii, wrist extensors (e.g., extensor carpi radialis)
• Reflex changes: diminished triceps reflex
• Sensory deficits: dorsal aspect of the arm and middle finger
