In an inspiring display of medical expertise and teamwork, a young boy with chronic kidney disease, who had been undergoing dialysis for 2.5 years, underwent a successful kidney transplant. Our CTVS team expertly corrected an impending aortic arch rupture, allowing our Nephrology, Urology, and Anesthesia teams to collaborate on a successful transplant.
