वर्ष 2019 में एक दुर्घटना के उपरांत, स्थानीय अस्पताल में पैर की हड्डी में चोट की सर्जरी के बाद कृष्ण कुमार सिंह को संक्रमण हो गया और उनकी चोट से मवाद आने लगा. इलाज के लिए उनके 5 और ऑपरेशन किंतु उन्हें कोई लाभ नहीं हुआ. अंततः एक डॉक्टर ने उनसे कहा कि उनका पैर काटना पड़ेगा. फिर किसी की सलाह पर वे अपोलोमेडिक्स अस्पताल आए, जहां वे हड्डी एवं जोड़-रोग विशेषज्ञ - कर्नल डॉ. नरेंद्र कुमार से मिले. मात्र एक सर्जरी करके डॉ, नरेंद्र ने उनके पैर से 5 वर्ष से बहता मवाद ठीक कर दिया. आज कृष्ण कुमार काफ़ी बेहतर हैं और धीरे-धीरे चलने-फिरने भी लगे हैं। आइए, सुनते हैं उनके अनुभव के बारे में।
