Delighted to share CT scan / PET-CT scan images of a case of inoperable Lung Cancer (NSCLC, SCC, cT4N2M0), treated by me one year ago.

Of note is the fact that the patient was very weak at presentation and wheelchair bound, also a known heart patient (triple vessel CAD, post stenting), he could not receive any additional Chemotherapy or Targeted Therapy. Still he was able to beat the odds and successfully complete the Radiation treatment to overcome his disease.

Now after >1year his disease is still under control and patient is symptom free.

Liver Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) is an advanced technique to deliver very high dose of Radiation at a precisely located target inside liver for treating / ablating liver tumors (Primary or metastasis). It eradicates the tumor imparting high local control rates.

The images shown below display SBRT dose distribution for liver SBRT in a case of Ca Breast with solitary liver Metastasis (worth noticing is the sharp dose fall off between 85% and 50%).

The second image shows the liver Metastasis as seen initially on MRI before SBRT and subsequent complete resolution after Liver SBRT.

Treatment of Throat cancer with Voice Preservation in a case of Ca Larynx (Throat Cancer).

A middle-aged gentleman developed complaints of hoarseness of voice along with pain in throat especially during swallowing. His evaluation revealed mass lesion in throat (Supraglottis and hypopharynx) which upon biopsy showed Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Upon staging it was cT4aN1M0 (Stage IV).

Patient received 6weeks of Radiotherapy under my care and supervision along with 6cycles of weekly chemo under Medical Oncologist. Response Evaluation at 3months showed complete regression of tumor and patient being cured of cancer (CT scan pictures attached)

Patient has a functional voice and need not undergo surgery to remove larynx at present for cancer.
