Enlightening Lives Series – Visit to Baal Ashram, Mohan Road, Lucknow

Continuing with the “Enlightening Lives” series, the team of Amar Foundation visited Baal Ashram at Mohan Road, Lucknow. The ashram houses children between the ages of 10 and 18 years.

During the visit, Dr. A. K. Sachan interacted with the children and inspired them through an enlightening session on the power of manifestation—emphasizing how positive thoughts, dedication, and perseverance can shape one’s destiny. He encouraged them to make a personal commitment to work hard, remain disciplined, and strive for success in their lives.

To motivate and support their educational journey, school bags were distributed to all the children, symbolizing the importance of learning and knowledge as the true light of life. The team also shared sweets with the children to celebrate the joy and spirit of Deepavali.

The visit was a heartwarming reminder that true celebration lies not only in lighting our homes but in lighting lives—spreading hope, happiness, and inspiration among those who need it most.

दीपों के पर्व दीपावली के अवसर पर हिंद इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज, बाराबंकी में चेयरमैन डॉ अमोद कुमार सचान और उनके पूज्य माता-पिता जी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में पूरे विधि-विधान से पूजा संपन्न हुई। इस शुभ अवसर पर टीम को उपहार भेंट कर खुशियां बांटी गई।

As per the vision of our Hon’ble Chairman, Dr. A. K. Sachan, to give back to society, he beautifully emphasizes that Diwali is not merely about lighting our own homes, but about illuminating the lives of others. Inspired by this thought, he has envisioned this week as the “Lighting Lives” series — a humble initiative dedicated to spreading light, happiness, and hope among those in need.

To begin this noble “Lighting Lives” series, our Hon’ble Chairman, Dr. A. K. Sachan, visited Baal Greh, an orphanage located at Gokhale Marg, Lucknow — the only government-run orphanage in the city. During his visit, he entered into an understanding whereby all medical needs of the children residing in Baal Greh shall be taken care of, free of cost, by Hind Institute of Medical Sciences and Shekhar Hospital. This initiative ensures that every child in the orphanage receives timely and quality healthcare without any financial burden. To mark the spirit of Diwali, Dr. Sachan also distributed sweets among the children, spreading joy and warmth as a symbol of shared happiness and compassion.

Lucknow, October 10, 2025 – The Department of Plastic Surgery, Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, organized an insightful guest lecture on “Basics of Microsurgery”, delivered by Prof. Dr. Imran Ahmad, an eminent expert in the field.

Prof. Dr. Imran Ahmad interacted extensively with faculty members, postgraduate students, and residents. His lecture covered the fundamental principles and advanced techniques of microsurgery, offering participants a deeper understanding of its practical applications in modern reconstructive surgery.

Chairman Dr. A. K. Sachan shared his vision and future plans for the growth of the Department of Plastic Surgery, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to advancing medical education and achieving the goal of “Health for All.”

The lecture was highly informative and well-received by all attendees. It also served as an excellent platform to highlight the academic initiatives and clinical advancements being undertaken by the Department of Plastic Surgery at HIMS.

The session was attended by many delegates and members of the medical faculty. Head of Department Dr. Sanjiv Bhatiya, along with Dr. Brajesh Pathak and Dr. Pushpendra Kannaujia, expressed their gratitude to Chairman Dr. A. K. We are thrilled to report on the grand Inauguration Ceremony of the International Conference on Wellness (Wellness Con- 2025), held at Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Safedabad, Barabanki on Friday, October 10, 2025.

The event was graced by our Chief Guest, Dr. P. Hanumantha Rao (Padma Shri awardee, 2023), and our Guest of Honour, Prof. Amod Kumar Sachan . Their insightful words set an inspirational tone for the entire conference.
