A 65 years old lady suffering from Rheumatic Mitral Stenosis underwent multiple mitral valve balloon dilations over last 25 years at various hospitals, and finally had a Surgical Mitral Valve Replacement 5 years back at a prominent private cardiac institute of Lucknow. The prosthetic valve again got stenosed over years and Instead of another high risk open heart surgery, we offered to replace the diseased bio-prosthetic valve percutaneously with a valve-in-valve procedure. The procedure was uneventful and the patient walked home on day-3 with a brand new prosthetic valve.
